Crabtree & Evelyn Cooks Citrus handwash and hand therapy

This comes as a package together in a swank, sink-side caddy. I really like the caddy. It's a good size for putting bottles of lotions/creams etc and will make a great gift. Now let me review the products individually...

Citrus Deodorising Hand Wash (500ml)

Given description:
Deodorises your hands and leaves them refreshed with a clean, herbal scent! Formulated with natural conditioning extracts of sage, rosemary, alfalfa, carrot and cucumber. Convenient pump dispenser.

The soap is a lemony creamy colour, and is easy to pump out. One thing i like about this is even though it is a deodorising soap, it isn't too strong. Most deodorising soaps i've encountered previously are either too strong or have a nasty chemical smell. This hand soap is neither. I don't need a lot of soap to get my hands feeling clean either.

As for the scent, it's nothing to shout about but i'm sure the crisp refreshing smell will brighten your day anytime.

Citrus Hand Therapy Cream (250ml)

Given description:
Moisturize and nourish hands with this shea butter therapy cream, infused with antioxidant vitamin A, D and E. A delicious blend of pink grapefruit, orange and lemon naturally banishes even lingering onion and garlic odors.

The scent of this product is slightly different from the hand soap it comes with. I can't really say which one i like better, because both are unique in their own way. I like that this one is smaller sized than the hand soap, because i don't moisturize my hands everytime after i wash it so it would make more sense to have less moisturizer to come with it cos i simply don't use so much.

The cream is ultra absorbent and doesn't leave a greasy residue, which is a big plus for me too. Sometimes, i hate putting hand cream because they leave my hands greasy and when i touch stuff, the grease gets on them. Non-greasy hand cream is a BIG thumbs up for me. The scent isn't too strong either, which is great.

I think both products are great used together.

You can get this at any crabtree and evelyn store. You can get the entire package together with the soap, cream and caddy for S$73, or the individual soap for S$30 and the cream, S$65. Obviously, it would make more sense for you to buy the package cos you get the cute caddy thrown in!

Special: Bath&Body Works

This week, we're looking at a whole new range of wonderful products from Bath&Body Works. Bath and Body Works sells great products that smell absolutely heavenly, so this week, i shall be reviewing the Warm Vanilla Sugar Anti-Bacterial Gentle Foaming Hand Soap.

GIven description:
Soft bursts of lightweight foam gently wash away dirt and germs, while leaving skin soft and lightly scented. Our Warm Vanilla Sugar fragrance blends vanilla, coconut and basmati rice with a touch of soft sandalwood to create a rich and cozy scent.
Domestic.

-Triclosan kills germs
-Aloe vera soothes skin
-Pro-Vitamin B5 nourishes skin

Firsty,I love how it actually foams, like what it says on the bottle. Im so sick of products claiming that they do this or they do that and in the end, they just don't.

The bottle can actually be 'locked', by turning the nozzle away from two lines drawn there so that when pressed, nothing will come out and this is really handy for travelling.

The liquid in the bottle comes out as white foam, and smells really like vanilla sugar. This scent doesn't smell artificial, which is a plus too, and is not too cloying.

The foam really washes away the dirt and bacteria too, because i used it after playing with my dogs and i could see the white colour of the foam change to grey colour! Either my dogs are really dirty, or this foam is really good.

When washed away your hands are left lightly scented and soft. This soap doesn't leave your hands dried out. Since i suffer from eczema, that is a real good thing because i can't have my hands constantly dried out everytime i use soap right?

The sad thing about this product though, is that it's only available in the States! It's not available in Singapore, so i have to get my cousins to get it for me whenever she comes down from the US. Or another way to get it is from the website, which has great layout and is really easy to find items.

The price of this product is cheap too, and definitely won't bust your pocket. Retails at USD 5 for one and USD 10 for three. For such a wonderful price, whats not to love?
